Music Cup – Good for More than Just Music!

Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker Black

Music Cup NFC Bluetooth Speaker has deservedly earned a reputation as a high quality portable speaker that can serve all of your music needs. No matter the style, artist, or genre, your music will sound great coming out of a Music Cup. Plus, the speaker itself is sure to catch attention.

However, Music Cup can do a lot more than just play music. I recently discovered this in a couple of contexts. First, you have to realize that I develop video games in my spare time. Obviously, audio makes up a big part of the gaming experience, but when I want to show off my latest creation I am limited by the internal speakers on my laptop. They just are not loud or clear enough to represent what my games actually sound like. However, thanks to Music Cup’s tiny size and easy Bluetooth connectivity, I can now show off my game to as many people that can fit around my computer at once—and every single one of them can hear everything perfectly.

I have also found Music Cup to be the perfect companion for impromptu movie and TV show viewings. Whether you are waiting on a flight, hanging out with friends, or simply have some down time, the Music Cup will vastly improve your mobile movie viewing experience. Just pair up the Music Cup to your smartphone or tablet, and suddenly you have a much more substantial, high quality movie than you ever could have had with your device’s internal speakers.

My Cup of Music

Black Music Cup in the morning

I have a routine for my day. I have my breakfast, I brush my teeth, and I get to work. The food at breakfast may vary and the work can come in all forms, but ultimately the structure of my day remains just about the same. Yet none of this can happen without two cups: my cup of coffee and my cup of music.

The utility of the coffee should be apparent—I’m a writer after all—but the cup of music is just as important in fueling my day. I always set up my Music Cup and connect it to my computer or tablet (depending on where I’m working for the day). I then switch it on, queue up some tunes, and off I go on to my work. You see, music is essential to my brain working properly. It gives me something to filter out any outside noise. It gives me a rhythm and pace to type along to. It inspires me with the chord progressions, melodies, and voices.

Music Cup is the ideal solution for this daily routine, as it’s so portable. I often like to work from different locations in order to change up the scenery, and my Music Cup is so small that I can bring it along with me anywhere. That way, I always have a cup of music readily at hand to properly fuel my day.

Music Cup vs Jambox, HMDX, iHome, Beats, Creative and Other Bluetooth Speakers

In using Music Cup bluetooth speaker, one question inevitably may be raised: what differentiates this device from other portable wireless speakers? There’s no obvious shortage of Bluetooth speakers out there, after all. However, I have discovered a couple aspects that make the Music Cup stand out over other Bluetooth speakers, such as Jambox, HMDX, iHome, Beats and Creative products.

The most obvious distinction comes in the Music Cup’s design. It’s instantly eye catching, and friends are always pleasantly surprised to see that my music is coming out of the little black “coffee cup” sitting on my desk. It’s a conversation starter, and I love that in anything I own.

However, a speaker should really be about the audio quality. Bluetooth speakers can easily fall prey to one of two issues: tinny, empty audio with no bass at all or overly bassy audio that overwhelms any of the medium and high ranges. These two problems can work well enough with certain genres, but I listen to a wide variety of music, and I need a speaker that can accurately represent all genres. That’s where Music Cup had really shown its value as a wireless speaker tagged below $50.

I can go from playing the latest Glitch Mob track—full of growling bass and high progressions—to a classic Aerosmith song—all about the mid ranges and strong guitars—and have both songs sound just right. The bass is enough, and not overwhelming. Each instrument, singer, or sequence can be heard distinctly in its own part. This gives a complete soundscape to the music and best value that simply can’t be found in other Bluetooth speakers, whatever cheaper or more expensive.

Striking, Unobtrusive Design of Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker

Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker Black on desk

Compare to other brands on the market, like Bose, JBL, Jawbone Jambox, Beats or HMDX Jam, why would you want a wireless speaker that looks like a coffee mug? To be fair, this is a question I initially asked myself when I heard of the MusicCup as well. However, since using it I have seen the cleverness in its design.

Speakers usually take a rather prominent position in any setup. If you are setting up a home theater, you will have large speakers that stand out. Speakers often take up a large portion of a TV’s or a laptop’s body. Even iPod headphones are prominent in their stark white plastic. The Music Cup flips the script on big, obvious speakers to great effect.

Personally, I keep my Music Cup on my desk most of the time. When I play music through it, I get a nice clear sound without needing to fill up a chunk of my desk with needless speaker equipment. Even better, it’s always a fun moment when friends come over, hear the music, and wonder where it’s coming from.

Even in party environments, the inconspicuous shape of the MusicCup is a really nice touch. I can simply set up my MusicCup on a shelf, let the music play, and I don’t have to worry about anyone (who may have had too much to drink, perhaps) messing with my music. Who would mess with a coffee cup after all?

Music should be heard, not seen, and that’s precisely what Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker delivers.

Why we love Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker

Find the Music Cup

Many of us like to begin our day drinking a cup of coffee and listening to her favorite music, even when we are on the road traveling for business using our portable music player. The trouble is that so many of the speaker systems available on the market today can be a bit cumbersome and somewhat fragile. What if there were another option? Music Cup has designed a remarkable new Bluetooth Speaker that is unlike any other. This speaker is shaped like your favorite coffee mug.

Providing crystal clear audio quality from a speaker system that only weighs 9 small ounces, the Music Cup Speaker is easy to carry and highly durable. It sits perfectly on your desk, disguising your audio speakers from clients and coworkers, while also fitting snugly into the beverage holder inside your car. This means that you can grab your coffee cup and be on the move with your favorite tunes without worrying about damaging a highly sensitive and normally delicate device.

Coming in a variety of different colors including red, yellow, blue, green, black, and white, this Bluetooth “speaker-in-a-cup” works well with any type of standalone or portable music player. From smartphones to tablets, Music Cup is the speaker-of-choice for owners of iPhones, iPods, iPads, MacBooks, Amazon Kindles, Androids, Nexus 7’s, and Sumsung Galaxy devices. They also work with your desktop Mac’s and PC’s as well, allowing users of the Music Cup to easily transition from one computer system to the other with ease. No one is the wiser because is always looks like you are simply a coffee addict rather than a Gaga Fan or an Elvis Costello Lover.

The Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker also comes with a rechargeable battery pack that lasts for up to six hours of constantly streaming music selections. To recharge, simple plug the cup into a wall outlet, or use the car adapter or USB option. What is also really unique about this portable music player coffee cup speaker is that it tilts on its side, using the mug’s handle as a type of supporting arm. Instead of sending the music straight up into the room, you can lay the cup on its side and focus the tunes in any direction that you like. No wires of any kind are used, because it is a normal, functioning, state-of-the-art Bluetooth Speaker.

At a very affordable price, these Music Cup Speakers are great for use at parties, get-togethers, and especially company functions. Because of the unique design, your efforts to decorate your event will not be hampered by lots of ugly speaker systems spreading throughout the party. Just place a Music Coffee Cup in various locations throughout the room. And when your guests happen to finally figure out where the music is actually coming from, you are the instant hit of the party.

The Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker is very affordable, extremely durable, highly mobile, and works with any type of standalone or portable music player to provide perfect sound quality. This coffee cup is filled with the perfect blend of functionality!

The Surprising, Booming Bass of Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker

The Music Cup Black excellent bass

Certain speakers so often serve only to disappoint. Every pair of speakers or headphones is a little bit different, and each will play certain frequencies differently. For example, your laptop’s built-in speakers are almost certainly lacking in bass response, but some headphones have so much bass that the highs are inaudible. It is especially common for portable Bluetooth speakers to lack in the bass areas.

That’s why I was so surprised by Music Cup. Looking at the Music Cup, I didn’t see any obvious place for bass frequencies to come from. I expected slightly muted bass from my music. I was wrong.

Bass is very important in much of the music I listen to. Whether I am listening to the latest electro-house hit from Zedd, playing some relaxing tunes from alt-J, or simply blasting some classic Aerosmith, I need to hear the bass in a song. It fills out the auditory spectrum.

I played my first song on my Music Cup, “Head Is Not My Home” by Ms Mr, and I was blown away. The bass and low tom-tom drums came through just as clearly as the lead singer’s voice. I tested with a few more songs, just to make sure it wasn’t an anomaly. Every song has powerful, clean bass that did not overpower the rest of the music.

Music Cup differentiates itself from other portable speakers in this regard. This means I can play music for parties or simply when friends are hanging out, and it will sound just as good as if I lugged my bookshelf speakers along with me.

Hey, it might even be enough to get a couple people up and dancing—but we’ll have to wait and test that one for real.

TechnoBuffalo: MusicCup Portable Bluetooth Speaker Great Value, Fun Design

Music Cup Green

Speakers, like headphones, often aren’t very fun or exciting to look at. Sure, some come in various colors, and you can find a variety of sizes, though it’s rare we ever find one that takes the shape of something else. And for that reason, we’re excited about a new product called MusicCup.

Music Cup Green

Here’s the gist: MusicCup is a compact portable speaker that is designed to look like a mug of sorts. In a crowded market of portable Bluetooth speakers the Music Cup looks to stand apart from the competition through its unique design and relatively inexpensive price ($49.99). The speaker streams music via Bluetooth (3.0) or a 3.5mm auxiliary port and a battery that can power the speaker for up to 6 hours at the highest volume level.

New Years with your Music Cup

As New Years Eve approaches, it is time to start planning out your celebrations for the evening. This night is one of the most fun and universally celebrated as you welcome 2014 and new beginnings. So, if you are to host a New Year’s party, you need to have the right music and the right way to play it.

Playing your New Year’s party music on a Music Cup could be the best solution here. A high-energy New Year’s party will move from room to room quickly, and you want to be able to take your up full of music along with the crowd. This will keep everyone dancing and celebrating all the way until midnight and beyond.

Of course, this brings up the difficult question of what music to play at a New Year’s party. Well, here are a few tips to keep your night going.

Start off your party with something upbeat, but not too energetic. You don’t want to overwhelm your guests as they arrive. A good choice here would be something a little outside the mainstream but fun, like CHVRCHES or Metric.

From there, you can start breaking out plenty of dance and sing-along hits. The sing-alongs should be especially popular as everyone looks forward to the ball dropping at midnight. A solid choice would be “Royals” by Lorde, or—for something a bit more classic—some hits from “your decade” which will of course depend on the age of the crowd.

Finally, end the night with some last big, danceable songs (“Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore, anyone?) right after midnight, and quickly slow things down as people tire out. A good song to end the night on is “Piano Man” by Billy Joel.

These tips should keep your Music Cup Bluetooth Speaker blasting out the music all night long and give you and your guests a truly happy New Year!
